The terms on which WestWood Tree Care provides its tree care services, applicable to both residential and commercial work.

1. Our Agreement
These Terms & Conditions apply to all work carried out by WestWood Tree Care ("we", "us", "our"). By accepting a quotation and proceeding with the work, you ("the customer") agree to be bound by these terms for both residential and commercial contracts.
2. Quotations & Pricing
Quotations are provided free of charge and are based on the information available at the time of assessment. They are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Any additional work not included in the original quotation will be discussed and agreed with the customer before it is carried out.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of quotation. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the work. For larger commercial projects, staged or invoiced payment terms may be agreed in advance.
4. Cancellation & Rebooking
If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please let us know as soon as possible. Where work is cancelled after we have attended site or incurred costs, a charge may apply. We will always be reasonable and transparent about any such charges.
5. Site Access & Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing reasonable, safe access to the trees and for making us aware of any hazards on site (for example underground services, uneven ground, or overhead wires). Please ensure any relevant third-party permissions (such as landlord or neighbour consent, and any necessary planning permission or Tree Preservation Order consent) are obtained before work begins.
6. Our Responsibilities & Standards
We will carry out the agreed work with reasonable skill and care, to a professional standard and in accordance with current best arboricultural practice. We will take reasonable care of your property and clear waste arisings unless otherwise agreed.
7. Insurance & Liability
We carry appropriate public liability insurance for our work. Our liability will be limited to the reasonable cost of remedying any fault in our workmanship. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from factors outside our reasonable control, including pre-existing tree conditions not reasonably identifiable at the time of the assessment.
8. Waste Disposal
Unless otherwise agreed, waste arisings are removed and disposed of responsibly as part of our standard service. Where a customer requests that we leave chippings or logs on site, this will be agreed in advance.
9. Equipment & Emergencies
All work is carried out using appropriate, well-maintained equipment. Emergency work is charged at the rate agreed at the time of booking and may be subject to additional call-out terms, which will be confirmed to the customer before work proceeds.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
